"Bitdefender subscription has expired" notice

Every time I connect my laptop I receive a screen supposedly from Bitdefender that says, "Your Bitdefender subscription has expired. Renew your subscription to continue." It gives me a button to go toward a renew subscription option, as well as an option to skip for now.

In my Bitdefender settings, I have turned off the option to receive promotional item notices, etc. I know for a fact that my Bitdefender license has been renewed, as well. So, how/where do I look to turn off these annoying notices that are not relative. Is in a Windows toggle I need to switch??? please help.

I think it depends on where this notice is displayed, is it in your Bitdefender Central account, or is it in the actual product UI? This type of notification is unrelated to promotional messages or special offers, because it has to do with the actual subscription status. Now, if you have renewed your protection manually already and this message is somehow still displayed, it's quite possible that the previous subscription was not canceled and as such, these expiration messages are shown. Or, if the UI displays that, can you tell me if the notification is accompanied by an "at risk" status? Because this would indicate that the device is unprotected (possibly because it was previously covered by a subscription that has now expired, and you might need to reallocate that device to your new subscription). One more thing, did you enter your new activation code in Central and was the new subscription successfully activated?

Of course, i'm only making assumptions here, because I don't have access to your account to check and there's no screenshot here either, so it's a guessing game at this point.🙂
