I participate in Stockfish chess engine development. I run the Stockfish worker software that allows the developers to test new algorithms. Today, for the first time in many months of testing, I got the following warning from Bitdefender:
"The file D:\Data\Chess\worker\tmp33kwvul6\Anurag-Baundwal-Stockfish-ff7cee4\src\stockfish.exe is infected with Gen:Variant.Ulise.616636 and was moved to quarantine."
Is this a false alarm or the real thing?
