A virus came up being discovered by bit defender, a fake antivirus, bit defender said it stopped the virus but several files were infected. Next thing, I ran a deep scan, it found nothing, logged off and have not been able to log on since, not even in safe mode. BD tech support had me use a rescue CD in unices/linux which ran a scan and found nothing on 1-17. Still Unable to log on my computer, I used the scanner to check the files put on knoppix and found infections that could not be deleted or quarenteened. After explaining this thoughly to tech support they had me try the rescue CD again. FAILED!! I ran the 2nd rescue CD on 1-26 and it came up with infections when scanning knoppix, trojan.arcbomb.z1q, unable to clean. After many conversations with tech support, I have been reescallatedseveral times, I need the computer back. What do I do? Any suggestions?
