Last week I installed 2010 on the third and final computer for my 3-machine subscription.
This afternoon, something wierd happened. BDTS2010 started the post-install setup wizard again, forcing me to go through the whole process of configuring everything, checking for updates and performing a "first scan".
Something seems odd here, and I am concerned that something is not right. Did some malware install a hypervisor underneath my Vista U64, and force BDTS2010 to reconfigure itself with a "blind spot" to the particular threat it represents? Or something else?
I know it sounds paranoid, but I work in IT and am concerned about IT security, a field wherein the watch phrase is, "If you think you are being a little paranoid about computer security, you're not doing enough."
