Hello,
Can someone please help me with this Virus Alert and what might be the cause of it being generated.
I keep getting this virus alert using BD Total Security v13.0.19.
Only every once in a while it pops up.
Virus Name:
Trojan.Downloader.JS.Twetti.A
Accessed by:
svchost.exe
Location:
61.4.82.221/wpad.dat
I have no idea what is generating it.
I have emule running and even though I've added this ip to the ipfilter.dat it still keeps poping up.
I even cleared my caches, history, cookies etc. with both IE and Firefox. yet it still keeps poping up.
I have yet to reboot.
From other computers in my home network, I map to drives that are located on this computer that is currently running the BD software.
Approx. 3 or 4 times in the last 3 months I've had to re ghost my image back onto this computer because all of a sudden I could not map to a drive on this computer running the BD software. After searching each time for roughly 2 to 3 hours each time and finding no solution to my problem.
Therefore, ghosting the image back was the only solution found. Waist of time. I'm simply trying to figure out in the end, why mapping to E$ on the machine running BD all of a sudden becomes impossible. I can ping both ways all the time but mapping becomes impossible. I don't want to have to ghost my image back onto this computer any more times. With Norton, I had not one problem finding the information about viruses that were detected but with this product, almost every virus it says it finds, I have yet to find one that is mentioned in your database. Nor with Norton have I had a problem with mapping and RETAINING the mapped drives as with this product.
I've searched roughly 32 pages of your listings of viruses but have found no exact match for this virus, Nor do I have any clue as to why it keeps poping up.
