I need information BitDefender Rootkit Uncover Tool. Also I want to know why GMER tool is preferred over it?
I used both tools and found that GMER takes hours to search for rootkits while BitDefender Rootkit Uncover takes minutes for the same.
BitDefender doesn't have an official rootkit uncover tool released.
GMER takes a long time to finish because it scans the entire system on a file-by-file basis.
