I'm Really Getting To Regret Install Bd Total Defender 2010

I'm really getting p...d off with this program... Main reason is When a Virus is Detected this program does NOT display any information about the so-called virus that it found. I am very disappointed in this product.

In EVERY INSTANCE so far when a virus is detected, NO information at all is displayed in the window describing the virus that was detected as a so-called Virus. If I go to your site:

http://www.bitdefender.com/site/Search

to do a search on the Virus that was as your program states is a Virus. Then I should be able to find some information pretaining to the Virus Name. But in EACH and EVERY INSTANCE upon doing a search NOTHING can be found in your database. This is unexceptable.

As far as I can see, I shouldn't have to search for any information. Your program should do this work for me (by selecting a link like 'Virus Information'. This link should be attached to the BitDefender Antivirus Alert Window that pops up notifying me of a detected virus.) automattically.

It should open my web browser and display this information about this so-called Virus that was detected, thereby telling what this virus will do to my computer if I choose to run it and what the Risk Factor is if I so choose to run it.

The latest virus that your program says it detect is 'Trojan.Agent.AOID'. Which I would think would be more of a common one seeing as how it doesn't have a bunch of diffenerent numbers after Agent.... But do a search for information on it and your database shows pages upon pages of a whole bunch of others but not this one. WHY?

This has been explained numerous times before by us and other antivirus vendors.

The number of new threats and the computing and manpower required to analyze them does not allow for a writeup of each malicious file detected by antivirus products.

Were we to try such a thing, we would need an army of researchers and translators to provide proper articles for the 5.5+ million signatures and detection names in the product.

Unfortunately this is unfeasible, and we only provide such descriptions for threats that have a wide spreading or difficult removal steps.

In the event users require help in removing a threat or have reasons to believe that a file is improperly detected, we will gladly assist or reanalyze detections.
