Downadup Plugin

I download downadup removal tool witch containe folder named plugin

this folder containe xmd files and when user run this tool report shown tell user plugin load secsecfully

I tried to replace this xmd files with my BD 2010 xmd files (located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\BitDefender\BitDefender Threat Scanner\av32bit_16333\plugin)

when I run tool report tell me new xmd plugin load secsecfully !!!!!!

so can I scan with tool new virus ?????

Hello kosay85,

While that tool can load the xmd files, the actual scanning engine and the rules taken by the tool are extremely different from the BitDefender product. That special cleaning tool was specially designed to scan for specific malware in specific locations, in a specific order, and also it's not even guaranteed that it can successfully load and run all the engines from the full product.

We do NOT recommend to try this. Please use certified scanning methods, such as a trial BitDefender version, BitDefender Free Edition, BitDefender Online Scan or BitDefender QuickScan.
