Swizzor

Starting on 4/26/2010 my bitdefender has informed me that it has blocked Gen:Variant.Swizzor.2 in my windows temp folder.

it notified me of the block first on the 26th just once. then 8 times on the 29th and once today. i have run deep system scan a few times and it turns up nothing.

there also doesn't seem to be anything wrong with my computer yet at least. Run disc cleanup deleting the temp filed each time it shows up. is this a false positive or something i should worry about?

just got an alert saying it blocked it three more times.

and svchost is sometimes in the name.

Hahaha holy crap it must know i want to kill it. Another knew alert saying it has been blocked 4 more times. so 7 times in the past 5 minutes

I am having the same problems. I have searched the rest of the internet to find no answer.

It seems even bitdefender can't fix our problems.

Same here, since April 30. It blocks the file in the C:/Windows/Temp folder till today.

I am having the same problem. I have scanned my system with several different anti.virus/malware apps but found nothing. BitDefender still continues to report that it has blocked a virus called Gen:Variant.Swizzor.2 several times a day. I hope BitDefender has an answer soon.

An update has been released a few hours ago to fix this situation.

Make sure that your BitDefender is up to date and post here if the problem persists.
