I have similar issues to many who have posted with a twist that I haven't seen mentioned.
Windows Security Alert says there are several problems. Sometimes it says there are important updates and it runs through a series of three updates. Sometimes it says that BD reports that malware protection is turned off or that BD reports there is an outdated version. I tried one of the suggestions listed here to delete a folder in Win32 directory.
The twist is that when I reboot after doing something that is reported to help, it takes multiple times to log back in. My keyboard isn't working and I can't type my password in. If I keep shutting it down and trying again, it eventually may work, but I've just done it five times this evening and can't get back in.
I have a Toshiba laptop, running Vista and have just recently purchased and installed BD 2010. If I ever get back in, I'll try to send a screen shot.
Any other ideas? (I have another laptop that I'm using to communicate with you now.)
