Hello everyone,

Please keep in mind that with the new 2011 version you can simply remove it from Add/Remove Programs in Windows Control Panel. The uninstall tool is only mandatory to be used when the normal uninstall process can not be completed (we had no reports on this matter yet).

Is the uninstall tool in the link provided by nikki605 good for uninstalling the BD 2010 version as well? Because I assume the 2010 version cannot just be removed from Add/Remove Programs.

Good question! The 2 uninstallers are quite different in size:

BitDefender_Uninstall_Tool.exe (2,428KB)

uninstall_tool_2011.exe (8,969KB)

For the 2010 version you use THIS tool, same as before.

The Add/Remove programs is only applicable for 2011 with the corresponding uninstall tool (uninstall_tool_2011.exe)
