Firefox Update/bd Toolbar Update?
Still being new to this version (BD AV Pro 2011), does it usually take a day or two for BD to come out with a patch for the Toolbar when Firefox comes out with a new, or a more major update?
I take it that the update does not affect the Antiphishing feature of BD, is that correct, jut the Toolbar?
Thanks for your help

Yes, I just installed Antivirus 2011 today and the toolbar does not work. I am at the latest version of Firefox.

Thank you Gary, that is a good post. I'm sure the antiphishing is still active, as that is not affected like the Toolbar is.

Hello,
The Antiphishing toolbar compatibility with Mozilla Firefox has been resolved. If you still encounter issues with the toolbar please make sure you update BitDefender with the latest updates.

Yes. Firefox downloaded an Add-on update today and it is no longer being flagged by Firefox.
Thank you,

Hi Pieter,
I believe an update will be release later today or tomorrow to fix it. The updates are being launched based on software language. If you still have issues with the toolbar create a topic and we'll further investigate it.

Hello! I'm having the same problem with BitDefender Antiphishing Toolbar in Firefox 3.6.13. The Uninstall button in the Add-ons area is disabled and there is no update available. I tried the BitDefender Uninstall Tool without success - the add-on is still in there, stuck in Firefox.
You should know I no longer have BitDefender on this PC because it slowed it down too badly and I had to uninstall it.0 -
Hi Nicu,
Use the BitDefender uninstall tool from the link below:
http://www.Bitdefender.com/uninstall
Save the file and then open it. If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7 right click on the file and select "Run as Administrator". Click on Uninstall then wait for the process to complete. When it will be done, you will be ask to restart the PC. Do so and see if the issue is resolved.
If the issue persist reinstall Firefox or use a registry cleaner to clean-up your PC from any orphan files still present in your PC.
