[solved]installed Total Security Trial, But Only Get 8 Days Trial

I installed the trial version of Total Security 2011 and it said subscription will end in 30 days.

I kept getting messages about bit defender being updated and needed a reboot so I rebooted windows.

Now Bit Defender says I have 8 days remaning !! But I've only just installed it !!

Why have I lost 22 days?

I'm running Windows 7 64bit

Please check your Windows time and date settings and then Update the software. Also tell me if you had BitDefender installed previously

Windows time is currently correct and was correct at time of installation.

This is the first installation of any bitdefender products on this pc.

Some more infomation.

When I did a reboot and BitDefender said I had 8 days remaining is was just after midnight on the 13th.

I had done the initial install around 7pm that evening.

Booted up PC this evening and checked the subscription status - it said 7 days remaining. Date/Time was about "13/09/2010 23:30"

As you suggested I did a bitdefender update. It downloaded about 4500KB and said it needed to reboot.

PC rebooted.

Checked subscription status - it now says 8 days remaining.

The PC time was correct at point of installation. If I check the date modified of the "BitDefender" folder in "Program Files" it says "12/09/2010 19:22"
