Regisatry Cleaners Wont Run After Update

I use Argente and Advanced System Pro and neither one will work today. I last tried them yesterday and they were OK. As far as I can tell the only thing that has changed is the BD update I ran this morning that fixed the problems with having a Ext. HD. When I try to run them I get an error message that reads "windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." They will not run as administrator either. When I try to uninstall I get the same basic message. I tried to redownload both and I get the error message "ShellExecuteEx failed; code 5. Access is denied."


Any suggestions? Could this be linked to the BD update?

    I would recommend you to remove Advanced System Pro and only use Argente as a secondary cleaner. Having all three will interfere with BitDefender.


    You may need to re-install Argente and then add its executable file as an exception into Antivirus -> Exclusions and also an exception into the firewall module if you wish to connect to the Internet and search for updates.
