Hidden Virus :(

It seems I have some sort of virus in my system that bitdefender 2011 antivirus cannot detect. Everytime I run a scan whether it be a quick scan or a deep system scan it finds infected cookies on my computer usually between 5 and 20... never seems to be more or less than that. Something was sending out emails through my email in spam form to everyone on my lists (through yahoo) and also as of recently now i've gotten two bluescreen crashes which have never happened before. It seems that no matter what I do I can't stay away from viruses and bluescreen crashes

Please go to C:\Windows\Minidump, put all the files from that folder in an archive, upload the archive on a file sharing service of your choice (such as sendspace.com) and send me the download link by PM.

Cookies are a normal thing on any system. They are nothing to worry about.

I got your dumps. All 3 dumps show that the crashes were caused by netio.sys, which is not part of BitDefender products, but it's a critical driver from Windows OS (related to networking).

This problem might be caused by faulty network adapter drivers (installed incorrectly, or corrupted after installation). You could try uninstalling and reinstalling your network adapter drivers (make sure you search for updated drivers on the vendor's website).

Also, could you please post a little more details about the mailing malware that you had? How exactly did it behave? Did BitDefender detect it?

Yes, the malware i had that was sending out emails was not detected by bitdefender but did seem to stop when using a second anti-spyware scan and changing the password to the email acct it would send out emails to everyone on my list and inside them would contain a link (which i assume was used for further infection). I will try reinstalling the drivers and I think you for your time, for now it seems the emails have stopped but jeesh I hate computers sometimes they just never seem to work
