Firewall And E-mail Scanning Disabled After Reboot
Hello, I upgraded to BitDefender Total Security 2011 from 2010 and now anytime I reboot or shutdown the PC my firewall and e-mail scanning are both disabled. I have to go into the firewall settings tab, select the troubleshoot button and then it states it is repairing the drivers which restores these settings until I reboot again. Every boot I have to repeat this procedure. I used the BitDefender uninstall tool and removed everything, rebooted, ran CCleaner, rebooted again, and reinstalled BitDefender yet the problem still persist. Anyone one have any ideas why the drivers disable and have to keep being repaired?

Hey Dan, just wondering if you had any ideas on my firewall/email anti virus disabling on reboot problem. I believe I got the file uploaded properly and the attachment sent to you properly a couple days ago. I've installed the latest Windows 7 64 bit updates as well as the latest Bitdefender updates and done numerous reboots but the problem still persist.

HI Franco,
I find it normal for BitDefender not to work properly considering the number of security solutions and registry cleaners you have installed on your PC:
- Ad-Aware
- CCleaner
- Free Registry Defrag
- SpywareBlaster 4.4
- Wise Registry Cleaner Free 5.73
- Spybot - Search & Destroy
- BitDefender Total Security 2011
ALL the software above ARE INCLUDED in the BitDefender Total Security. Uninstall them ALL except CCleaner then restart the PC.
After restart save then right click on the BitDefender Uninstall Tool and select "Run as Administrator". Click on the Uninstall button then wait to be asked to restart the PC.

After restart use CCleaner to check for any invalid Windows Registry Entries AND any temporary files. After the two cleaning processes restart the PC again.
SAVE the installation kit below:
BitDefender Total Security 2011:
32bits:
http://download.bitdefender.com/windows/de...ty_2011_32b.exe
64bits:
http://download.bitdefender.com/windows/de...ty_2011_64b.exe
then run it when the download is complete. Follow the on-screen instructions and install BitDefender.

OK, this has really become frustrating. I uninstalled all the software, ran CCleaner, rebooted, ran the BitDefender uninstaller, rebooted, ran CCleaner again, rebooted, installed BitDefender Total Security 64 bit, rebooted and still have the firewall and email antivirus disabled when I boot. No change what so ever.
