Real Time Protection Is Disabled

I have just updated to Bitdefender 2011. Everything has installed well, but there is an issue affecting my PC. When I click "View All Issues," it says that "Real-time protection is disabled." When I attempt to fix, the status says "failed."

How do I enable real time protection?
