Trojan.heur.tp.fm0@bsxneym - Explorer.exe & Winlogon.exe Infected

Hi There,

Bitdefender's been detecting this malware on my PC on both explorer.exe & winlogon.exe

Have accidentally deleted the explorer.exe and have actually copied this file from another PC and so far it's been working.

Problem is that when i try to copy explorer.exe file back into the C:\Windows\ folder, it gets detected again even though this explorer.exe file originates from another PC.

The problem with winlogon.exe remains as per attachment

Please help.

The virus signature are outdated.

Do you encounter problems updating BitDefender?

No - though my PC has somehow shut down during the night

When I tried to restart my PC, windows wouldn't start at all and it keeps rebooting itself

I had to install windows on another drive which is how I am replying now

This is honestly farcical - how can this happen?
