I recently updated to v2011, on my 3 computers, 2 of them have windows 7 OS the other has XP.

I could not beleive how slow they ran and how much trouble I had with BitDenfender on these computers,

i.e. very slow start up, always crashing during update and scan, file error issues.

I am a long time user of BitDefender and do PC repair part time, I have told many clients to use BitDenfender and evne installed it on many computers, since 2011 release I am not supporting BitDenfender and since uninstalled it from my machines, which run very fast now.

I realy did like BitDenfender and very sad to see it fail.

I am calling my clients to uninstall and look for a different Anti-Virus support.

jdmouser - first, welcome to the forum. I wish it were under better circumstances.

If you are interested in diagnosing the problem, I know the tech support folks here would certainly be willing to work with you.

I have BD installed on 3 PCs and none of them suffer the problems you have described, so I'm certain they could find a reason for your slowdowns.
