Pchooklaunch64.exe Crashing Randomly

Would be nice to provide the solution or procedure to all users with this problem!


In my case - Pchooklaunch64.exe crashed even if Tuneup-utilities have been installed after proper installation of Total Security 2011.


So what is the solution? Not using TuneUp-Utilities?

    In that particular case Tune-Up was the cause of not having all BitDefender drivers installed and running properly. However we can't say that Tune-Up utilities, used properly, will cause BitDefender to crash, only if the real time protection for the Tune-Up will be enabled. If you just scan for possible malware/ad-aware then you can keep both software installed on the same PC.


    Follow the steps explained in THIS article then send me a PM with the generated log file.
