Video Streaming Slow With Bdis 2011
Since installing BitDefender Internet security 2011 on both my File server (Win7 Ultimate, x64) and my Media PC (Win7 Home Premium, x32), file streaming has slowed down significantly. So much so that I can no longer stream HD content from the server to the media PC without stuttering.
When I disable the Bitdefender firewall module on the File server, the problem goes away.
I am using Windows Media Player Classic to stream the files, but im assuming that it is some kind of windows service being blocked as opposed to a windows media player classic problem.
Are you able to offer any advice on how to fix this?

Hello,
Open the BitDefender program, select "Options" (from the top right corner) - > select the "Expert View": Go to the "Firewall" module, the Network tab - > at Network Type choose 'Trusted (Allow all)' and test to see if the issue still occur.
