Exclusion List Does Not Work

After having spent 1 year on Kaspersky security suite, i am now on a 1 month trial for Bitdfender total security 2011. My problem is that the antivrius exclusion list does not work. I have an aimbot program from http://www.artificialaiming.net which was detected as a trojan(most likely because of DLL injection). If i include that in the exclusion list, it will still be deleted if i execute the program. Also, disabling the Antivirus shield does not help too. I trust the aimbot program and wish to use it without the interference of the antivirus program.

How do I go about it?

Hi,

Where have you added the software to exclusions ? May I see a sample of it to analyze it ? It may be just a false positive but can also be an infected file.

Also please tell me if you have the IDS / AVC features enabled and the level of the slider for each. You can find them under the Antivirus module (make sure you switch BitDefender to Expert View from the Options button) -> Advanced Settings.

On the security center expert view, I add it in Antivirus->exclusions->files (On-access: yes, On demand: yes).

how do i send you a sample of the file?

antivirus->real-time protection is enabled (unchecked) slider on default

antivirus->advanced settings-> AVC (unchecked) slider on high

antivirus->advanced settings-> IDS (unchecked) slider on medium

the file is still being deleted upon execution.

I asked you to disable those modules and send me a sample, not to run it again. No modifications were made to the detection in regards of your program so it's normal to still delete it.

Please archive the file(s) using WinRAR / WinZIP and put a password to the archive. Set the password to 'infected' then upload the file HERE

When you have the password-protected archive send me a PM (Private Message) with the download link.

Hi,

I have a Windows serview which appears to be deleted by the virus scan. I say "appears" as I can not find a record of the deletion in the

log file, but the service is gone after a virus scan. Also, during the virus scan I am asked whether files from that folder should be sent for

futher analysis.

I have included the base folder (a folder in Program Files), below which the service executable is located, in the scan exclusions. So

I don't understand why the folder is being scanned, or if it isn't, why I am being asked to send the files for analysis.

Of course I am explecting the whole tree below the exclusion to be excluded from the scan.

Anybody know why the exclusion isn't working?
