Help Me....

OK, I am not very computer literate...

We have 2 laptops, one netbook, because we have 2 teens...

Laptops are both Dell and have had to be taken in to be wiped and restored, because I cannot do it myself..

Last time tech recommended bitdefender total security...loaded it on this laptop and the netbook...so far so good...

Now my other laptop was running something else...

Last week it got a nast spyware that shut it down.. think point leading worlds security...

I managed to system restore...then quickly loaded bitdefender, seemed to work til yesterday, so about 4 days...

Now message keeps coming up:

Bit defender....

iexplore.net has been terminated as been deemed harmful to your computer

or

svchost has been terminated as been deemed harmful to your computer

CANNOT sysytem restore, can't do anyhting, any help!!

For start you need to reboot the system in safe mode and post here a BDSI and GMER log as described in this article:

Note that you cannot attach the log but you can upload it on a server such as www.sendspace.com and post here the link.

Also did you run a deep system scan to make sure the system is clean?

[How to restart in SAFE MODE]

- Restart the computer;

- Press the 'F8' key several times before Microsoft Windows begins to load; you need to press 'F8' until you will be displayed a text menu;

- Select 'SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING' in the text menu and press 'Enter'.

- Wait while Windows loads in Safe Mode; this process ends with a confirmation message; click 'OK' to acknowledge.
