Malware detection problem

Hi DanyDan, I downloaded a password recovery tool which was not detected by real time protection. However if I scan it manually bitdefender quarantines the file. So I extracted the contents of the file using 7-zip but still no alert from Bitdefender real time av. An exe file is copied to a hidden folder when the contents of the main file is extracted using 7-zip. Does the real time protection not scan for potentially unwanted programs? I use default settings for realtime av except that I choose to quarantine any threat as first option without choosing repair. I can't access my PC now as I am away but can you provide any steps to solve this. I can PM you the link to the file if you need it.

The file is detected with the real time protection on aggressive and scan inside archive ON from Custom level.

Scan http traffic doesn't necessarily need to be enabled for BitDefender to see it in real time.

Thanks. Changing real time av from default to aggressive detected the file. I noticed that default real time setting would not detect spyware, adware, dialers and keyloggers. Shouldn't they be switched on by default? Otherwise the realtime av will miss a lot of threats if http scanning is disabled. Also threats will come through portable devices. I have changed my setting from default to aggressive and selected `scan only new and changed files' option.
