[duplicate]Bitdefender And Postgres 8.3

If I install BitDefender Antivirus Pro 2011 the PostgreSQL service will not start and therefore the application that I use will not run. After uninstalling BitDefender it all works fine again.


Is there a way to allow an exception to allow Postgres to start or any otherway of rectifing this.
