Bitdefender Crash

Can "ANYONE" "PLEASE" "PLEASE" tell me why bitdefender will NOT get back with you in a timely maner?

I have been trying to get them to help me fix my computer since 11/27/2010 and the last e-mail that I have gotten from bitdefender was 12/09/2010. Since then I have replyed to them over 20 times and they still will not get back with me.

Are they trying to loose all of thier customers??? "I NEED MY COMPUTER NOW" not when bitdefender gets around to it. Do they really think that this is fair??? The tech that I was talking to could not even e-mail me back and tell me that they needed more time. They just let me set here and do nothing. TELL ME SOMETHING BITDEFENDER one way or the other, either you can fix it or you cannot just let me know OK. Man what a company.

    Hello pricecc,

First off, on behalf of the BitDefender support team, I would like to apologize for these inconveniences.

I do not have the means right now to check your support ticket, however in these situations, I recommend uninstalling BitDefender and running a analysis tool that can tell us what caused these issues.

Below are 3 easy steps to follow:

    1. Restart Windows in Safe Mode with Networking

[How to restart in Safe Mode With Networking]

    - Restart the computer

    - Press the "F8" key several times before Windows begins to load -> you need to press "F8" until you will be displayed a text menu

    - Select "Safe Mode With Networking" in the text menu and press enter

    - Wait while Windows loads in Safe Mode

    2. Save and run the BitDefender uninstall tool:

    http://www.bitdefender.com/uninstall

    Restart Windows normally when prompted.

    3. Save and run the sysdump utility on your system into a location of your choice:

    http://www.bitdefender.com/files/Knowledge...ile/sysdump.exe

After the above process ends (it can take a few minutes..) make sure to send us the generated file sysdump.tar. It will be located in the same location as sysdump.exe.

Attach it when replying to the last email you received from BitDefender support or upload it via a 3rd party storage service (e.g. SendSpace) and send me the link via P.M.

I hope to see this case solved as soon as possible and properly compensated. Thank you.
