System.sys Jams Bitdefender

Hello,

When I am running Bitdefender on my older pc it keeps jamming at a certain spot. We dont know what could cause this problem. It keeps scanning in the background (at least the scanning numbers keep changing), but the last file scanned is "system\controlset002\services\update\=>imagepath=>C:\windows\system32\drivers\update.sys"

We are running windows XP version 5.1.2600
