Bitdefender Internet Security 2011 Problem

Hello,

I had my computer completely formatted yesterday because of some hardware problems. Today, when I planned on using it again and installing all the needed software, I started off with installing Bitdefender Internet Security 2011 and afterwards Mozilla Firefox. Right after that I decided to reboot my computer to install Windows Updates. That being done, it rebooted fine untill it showed my screensaver. It also stopped there. It shows nothing more than just my screensaver - no Vista symbol, no pictograms, nothing!

I use Windows Vista, by the way.

Any help would be greatly appreciated .

Update: I removed Bitdefender using the uninstall tool and it made no difference. Awkward how that was the only program I still had on the computer..

Please follow the steps below and send me the generated log file:

1. Download this file:

2. Locate and open 'Sysdump.exe'

3. A command prompt window will appear on your screen. Please note that the information gathering process can take several minutes therefore please wait until the window disappear by itself.

4. The result will be the file called 'SYSDUMP.TAR'

5. When you have the sysdump.tar please upload it HERE

6. Include a DETAILED description of the issue you encounter: reproduce the steps you take until the issue occur and, if possible, enclose a screenshot of any error message you receive.
