My daughter has windows xp and has BD 2009 anti virus. She switched off scanning and virus updates because of poor performance and has now picked up a virus. Her pc locks a few minutes after connecting to the internet. BD is not running and when you try to start it nothing happens. I have system restored back to a point in time befoe she had these issues but although the system no longer locks when connected to the internet BD will not start up so the pc is unprotected. I have tried to download some programs to check for viruses but these do not run either. Any guidence would be gratefully received.
