How To Downgrade To 2010?

I have a customers pc with BD 2011 removed and want to replace with 2010 version. (total security).

The code I copied from the 2011 version is only 7 characters long and the 2010 version will not except a key that short. There are 285 days left on this key is there a way to downgrade to 2010?
