    Hi ,

What error message you get? You can attach a screenshot?

May you somehow and other security software installed on your computer? If yes, please uninstall them and then try again installing BitDefender, downloading the latest build from: http://download.bitdefender.com/

    I wish you much success!

    Windows 11 Pro - 11th Gen Intel Core i9-11900KF @3,50 GHz, 128.0 GB RAM

  • Hello,

Got the PM with the logs. You will have the results of the analysis later today.

  • Hello,

The analysis of the logs you sent completed with the following results:

    - you have used the option Run/Open instead of first saving the installation kit on your PC therefore the driver for the real time protection was installed from the temporary location, as follows:

    \??\C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp\bdtempdir01\bdselfpr.sys

    You will need to:

    - save the BitDefender uninstall tool from

    http://www.bitdefender.com/uninstall

however do NOT open it until the download is complete. When it is done, right click on it and select "Run as Administrator". Click on the Uninstall button and wait to be asked to restart the PC. After restart make sure you clean your Windows registry using a registry cleaner such as CCleaner or Argente then restart the PC again.

Download the BitDefender Total Security 2011 installation kit file with or without Online Backup (depending on what you purchased):

BitDefender Total Security 2011 (with Online Backup):

    32bits:

    http://download.bitdefender.com/windows/de...ty_2011_32b.exe

    64bits:

    http://download.bitdefender.com/windows/de...ty_2011_64b.exe

    BitDefender Total Security WITHOUT OB:

    32-bits:

    http://download.bitdefender.com/windows/de...ty_2011_32b.exe

    64-bits:

    http://download.bitdefender.com/windows/de...ty_2011_64b.exe

    - when the download is complete right click on the saved file and select "Run as Administrator". Follow the installation process and let me know if the issue is now resolved.

    Regards,
