Judging by the location of this virus, BD has already detected and quarantined it, but the message still pops up that BD is blocking it. I would have thought that once it has been quarantined it should be like it is not there at all.
Any thoughts?

To fix this situation you can repair BitDefender by going to Start ->All Programs ->BitDefender 2010 ->Repair or Remove.

you can upgrade for free to BitDefender v2011 from the link below:

Sorry, I should have mentioned. I am already using 2011.
I have also since gone into the Java control panel and deleted temprorary programs and files and hope that hias done the trick
