Bit Defender is not finding this virus when scanning. Is there a removal tool?

A special removal tool for "Ms Removal Tool" doesn't exist as this is a polymorphic virus and it changes its shape and location all the time.
However,I have sent you an email with instructions on how to troubleshoot this case and remove the virus.

I purchased bitdefender a few months ago, after having to reformat my hd on my favorite laptop, due to a virus. (blue screen).
ms removal tool has gotten into my favorite laptop, with my study files, I have 2 days to prepare for 2 tests. laptop is dead
I have on loan to purchase a 10 thousand 6 hundred dollar scan tool/lab scope/ computer, thank God I have not agreed to purchase, and I have a free 2 week road test of the equiptment, if virus protection can't protect, I'm not buying, I'll stick with my 9 thousand dollar scan tool/ lab scope/computer that can not go online and does not have to go online for updates.
If you could send me an email, it would be greatly apreciated, I don't feel like spending 2 days reloading software and files

I have the same virus (MS Removal Tool). It also prevents Bit Defender from running a deep scan.

My PC got a MS Removal Tool virus and me being a computer neophyte just ignored it until my brother had to wipe out the whole system and start again. Four days later my family's backup computer, a laptop, got the same virus so I got BitDefender, but I couldn't computer scan or deep scan, just document scan was OK. I'm relieved you know about this virus. Can you help us out? Much appreciation from an old timer!

When I first logged on, I got an email almost immediately so I thought maybe my email server was under maintenance so I waited a day. Can you resend that email...Thanks for replying so quick.
I have resent the email but this time without the attachment (I suspect that your email is blocking it).
I have the same problem. The "MS removal tool" also kicked off an automatic system shut down. I've disabled system shut down, but stuck with the MS removal tool putting up scarry messages every few minutes. I can't do "ctrl alt del" to stop the process/application either!
Any help welcomed!
I, too, have been infected with the MS Removal Tool Virus, despite multiple daily scans with BitDefender. After receiving the pop-ups on my desktop, I got the "blue screen of death" and my computer rebooted. I am currently on the log in screen (running Windows XP Professional). What to do??

I have this stupid idiotic virus ###### well now....May the powers that be bring forth an endless amount of unfortunate and painful disease to the person(s) responsible for this!
Tried running the Bitdefender scan and also nadda...managed to remove the RunOnce registry entry so at least I have use of my machine!.....
Please Please can someone forward me the mail on how to remove this waste of time and effort of a peace of crap string binary exe!

I too have the MS Removal Tool virus. BitDefender Deep System Scan blows right by it. I need the email with instructions on how to fix it right awat please. Thank you very much in advance.
Guess i got this virus too. bitdefender said it blocked something called "Virus Name: Gen:Variant.Kazy.26442" then soon after that ms removal tool thing started popping up under a fake
action center flag. At first it wouldnt let Bitdefender do a deep system scan, but after some fiddling with disk clean up and unplugging my internet it worked. says it got rid of the virus that was in temp called 0.6914... .exe.
just wondering if i need to worry about this anymore or if i need what ever is in that email?

Note: if the application is blocked by the virus,then you can reboot the system in safe mode with networking and run it from there.
