BitDefender detects the virus Generic.SMSHoax.5A852B7C accessed by svchost.exe but it is not able to disinfect, delete or quarantine it as access to this object is denied.
It is listed as A0124986.exe located on an external hard drive but I have tried searching for this file but cannot locate it.
Any advice on how to remove this virus.
