Unfound Virus

I had a malicious file which I installed on my PC it was under the name BFBC2 keygen and it was running under the task name of of explorer.exe or under bf2bc.exe and it would open every time I booted my machine and would not let me gain access to the internet as well as failing a few programs BitDefender 2011 could not kill this Virus but I managed to kill it by using Security Task Manager 1.8 freeware version.

Hey Jason, I had a similar problem a while back. Restart your computer, run Safe Mode without networking. Once your computers booted up, run bitdefender. What I learned was to change my settings for virus scans. Instead of deny access or putting the virus in quarantine, I just set the options to delete the virus right away. It is your best bet, and if it happens to be in any software that you downloaded then that software modified to give you the virus even if the software worked. Its not worth it
