Hello,

I am looking at moving to Total Security 2011 (using trial version now) and was wondering when I purchase a license does this give you upgrades to the next version if it comes out during your license period or would I need to purchase at an upgrade price?

I see the the 2012 version is in Beta at present.

Yes, during your license period you can upgrade to BitDefender Total Security 2012 free of charge.

BitDefender 2012 will be released when the beta test period is over.

We don't know the exact date.

Sorry for stealing the thread but i wonder if this is a legit distributor for BitDefender?

The adresses differ and instead of BitDefender with a big capital letter D in it the other one has Bitdefender with a little d in it. It could be a scam site but i don't know. I know Avangate or Digital River are offical distributors but i won't take any risks making a payment before i can be fully certain.

Why isn't there any options to choose 2 year or 3 year license instead of only having to choose 1 year licenses in the official BitDefender store?

That's our official shop. You can see that is SSL securited (HTTPS)- the certificate is in the browser.

Please go to bitdefender.com, select your product and you can configure your license before you buy it.
