Repeating "choose Action" On The Same File

Recently just scanned and only found one infected file "Gen:Heur.IPZ.5", which is located at c:\windows\system32\atiuxpag.dll [2596] (memory dump). During the scan, bitdefender asks me submit a bug report as shown in the first picture. After I close it, I saw picture 2. But when I choose any action the same pop-up would appear acting me to choose an action. Only way to stop is to close it.

im having the same issue and i reformatted my computer, only to have this issue come up again.

I have this same virus in the same file atiuxpag.dll *32[4220] but when I try taking an action, whether it is deleting it or quarantining it, bit defender pops back up and says that "no action is possible" what do I do?

I have the exact same problem. I tried to delete the faulty file manually but to no avail as it seems protected ( apparently, atiuxpag.dll is a legitimate dll but it got corrupted).

I ran full scans with ad aware and my windows utilities software but the virus/spyware/trojan ( or whatever Gen:Heur.IPZ.5 is) is still there.

By looking it up on google I found very few results but all forum threads related to it seem to have popped up in the last few days so apparently this is something new.

Hopefully a solution can be found, what good is bitdefender if it can find an infected file but cannot do anything about it ?

Ok. Because of the name and the fact that I have an ATI videocard on my laptop, I figured the DLL had something to do with the ATI video drivers. I downloaded the drivers from their website and reinstalled ( the installer said that the drivers were already installed, I reinstalled anyway). After that, I rebooted the computer and did a deep scan with Bitdefender and nothing came up.

I think the corrupted DLL was deleted and replaced with a proper one. So you may want to try it as well.

False alert. I did a scan this morning. The virus is back. What is the solution ?
