Gen:trojan.heur.jp.hngfak0szhni

Hello I am new to this community and I am facing a serious problem.

Somebody downloaded a file onto my computer through Firefox the file name is Flash-Player.exe and BD 2010 identifies it as Gen:Trojan.Heur.JP.hnGfak0szhni but it does not deletes it or quarantines it.

The is located in the Downloads folders which is in My Documents when i open the Downloads folder the BD 2010 Services stop responding and i have to restart BD 2010.

I have tried to delete this file through cmd but it does not go away and also i have tried to delete the entire My Documents directory and it shows access denied.

When I try to Deep Scan my computer after 40 to 45 seconds the scan automatically finishes and shows no threats.

When I scan either the file itself or the Downloads folder the scan process is not properly performed but shows 1 affected file when I try to take any action it says No Action Is Possible.

I have uploaded an image file displaying the contextual scan results.

Concern is that Bitdefender first detected the threat as "Gen:Trojan.Heur.JP.hnGfaK0szhni" (by heuristics) but when it take action on the threat, it display "object was not found".

PS: You should re-scan by re-configuring the Target Processing and select default second action for infected objects.

How did you resolve it? I have the same problem.

My PC started acting really weird so i panicked and try to delete the files with force but then to gain some speed i restarted my PC after that i went into mozilla firefox options and changed the downloads directory to the option which involves asking a person where to save files that are being downloaded and then i permanently deleted the downloads folder with 9.8GIGS of data <_<

yeah it does display "object was not found" and also the cmd can find the My Documents directory in c: to delete so, basically every access is denied because file is being used somewhere that you don't know of. Fortunately BD 2010 stops it from infecting your machine but unfortunately it can not disinfect, delete, or quarantine the specific problematic file. so, thinking out of the box it must have ties somewhere that's why access is denied from even touching this file not literally virtually so, why not go back to the origin and seek out where the problem originated from you find the link kill it and hope for the best !!!!
