Hello,


Since i updated total security i have a lot of questions, so i apreciate if someone answers them separately, if they know for sure the answer:


1)Where is the 2011 scan activity bar (file/internet zone bar) i used to see in the desktop all the time? (i used love it...)


2)In 2012 how i know if real time protection is enable or real time protection is gone now?


3)What is auto scan now?


4) In firewall, i used to love the report option on 2011 to control all things that can connect or not to the internet, how i can do that now? Is


5)Is Paranoid mode is EXACTLY the same?


6) i have been hearing something about the final version, i am using TS for windows 64 bit? How i know if i have the final version? Where i see the build option?


7) Where i can see how many days left i have on my trial 2012 version?

    Same as previous versions: in the Windows System Tray, right-click on the BD icon and select About. The Build number will be displayed.

    1) Also interested in it as it distinguished Bitdefender from other Security Solutions.....Excellent Feature the Bitdefender had.


    2) Go to Settings--->General--->Advanced--->Configure Status Alert and Turn ON "Antivirus Status", and check pending issues.

    These are the questions I can answer:


    1) No longer available. See Mihaela's reply post in this topic.


    2) Answered by Ont in his post #4 above, item 2). But also, open BD, click on Settings-->Antivirus-->Shield and look at the status of On-access Scanning - ON or OFF. That is the real time protection (RTP) module.


    7) Open BD, at the bottom-right of the Main window, click on License Info. The number of days remaining on your license is displayed there.

    If you still have unanswered questions please tell me however I believe that all your queries were answer by Gary and ONT. The Activity bar may be re-added into the new 2012 version after several users requested it as a feature in the new version.


    Furthermore I would recommend you to use the 'Search' forum function from the link below as all your queries were already answered in a previous topic.
