My bitdefender 2012 internet security showing regular warning or say alerts for files in temp folder in my window

i manually formatted temp folder annd took all actions as bitdefender suggested like reboot

But still m getting these alerts.. full scanned but no result but no virus in it after manual deleting temp folder files.. but when i restarted then same problem again.. pop ups.. virus in temp.. then when i ran full scan i stuck on temp folder for full day and generated more then 400 warnings.. saw in alert virus section.. and virus scan which was still stuck on temp folder scanned 800+ virus and still scanning and finding...

I thought of using rescue mode.. but when i restarted and selected bitdefender rescue mode it showed me..

for video mode press enter or to continue press space.. so i pressed space.. some dos type coding started to come on screen then last line which i see is

copies bitdefender files in temp

then..

This type of command line comes.. nothing after it.. whatever i type in it, it again take me to same line...

for exiting i last typed exit like any cmd prompt..

but it took me to new line with Linux

my windows don't have any login or any type of password...

As usual it shows INVALID..

so nothing is working here...

I have to restart my computer manually and still facing same virus problem.. i disconnected internet running no program, full scanned but still..

WHAT IS GOING ON???????????

MORE DETAIL ON RESCUE MODE:

Ask i told before also.. i arranged for rescue mode scan..

And NOW when i choose Bitdefender Rescue mode in booting option..

At first it ask For Video mode press ENTER or Space to continue..

and after some coding like ms dos..

its stops at

/usr/bi/startx:line12:mcookie:not found

and then..

at last

Engine temporary being copied to "/mnt/sda2/windows.temp/bdrescue-20110822-09557"

and then

tc@box:~$_

here _ is cursor which we c in dos command prompt. and that cursor keep blinking whatever u type there it just repeat same..

then as we type to exit in cmd prmt i typed EXIT.

and it took me to new thing..

First of all you posted in the wrong forum category. Asking for assistance in removing a possible infection from your PC should be posted in the Malware Area.

Rescue Mode will be used either on demand or following a scan where a malware can’t be removed. When entering rescue mode you are asked for permission to install this mode and reboot the computer.

Rescue Mode it’s similar to the Rescue CD (a Linux OS) but lighter. The rescue mode installs on the active partition (30 megabytes of space must be available otherwise it will error).

For Windows XP rescue mode modifies boot.ini in order to load after reboot

For Windows V/7 bcd is edited. These entries are restored to boot in regular windows once the Rescue Mode loads.

Please tell me if you see the same image as the attached screenshot. If you see something else please tell me what exactly you see and what steps you took to get there.

Hi, I wanted to see if there is an update on this thread. I have the exact same issue as described above.

To answer the question regarding the screen shot, no, we don't see the exact same thing. We only see a completely black screen, with the dos type prompt that the previous user explained in detail.

There is no user interface, just this dos type interface. The only way to get out was to cut the power from the machine and restart. I have windows 7 64-bit
