Have a small home network ( non-BDIS2012 ) with 5 PC's. My main PC runs BDIS2012 (newly installed). When I back-up (image) a second PC (192.168.0.3-Win 7 Pro 32bit) running Acronis True Image 2011 on that PC...my main desktop PC (192.168.0.2-Win 7 Pro 64bit) runs (sort of)using up 98% of it's memory. When the other PC (192.168.0.3) finishes it's image back-up...my PC (192.168.0.2) returns to normal memory usage ??

I have search all help files in BitDefender for "network shares" but come up with nothing relating to what this is !? If I "de-select "scan network shares" in settings/AV..then I get warning messages in BDIS2012

Didn't have this issue in BDIS2011 ??

How do I keep my PC's protected...and still run backups on the other PC's without freezing up my main PC ?

Thanks...TRinAZ

  • Hi

We recommend you to disable that option("scan network shares") during the backup process.

    Thank you.
