Removing Ibryte

BD does not seem to be detecting IBryte, a malware virus from what I've been able to find while searching. Has anyone seen this issue, heard of it, know how to remove it or other wise. I'm using BD Antivirus 11 on a Windows XP machine. Pls let me know.

Are you experiencing an infection, or is this a general question?

If the former, please give some specific details about your problem so we can give you targeted advice.

If the latter, please note that different antivirus companies name the virus samples in a different way, following a proprietary policy. In other words, having the same piece of malware and 2 different antivirus companies, that malware might, or might NOT be signed with the same name by the 2 companies. So asking a generic question ”does antivirus A detect virus V?” can not be always answered in a correct way, or can't be answered at all. In case you have a specific malware sample, you can submit it to BitDefender Labs for analysis and you will receive a reply about it's status. If not, again, please provide more details about your query.
