Cant Access My Files?

i have a problem, every time i installed a program it disappears after reboot, the folders are there but exe files cannot be open.. another thing my antivirus is also gone and when i try open the folder on programs files it doesn't let me say i don't have permissions that happens with my antivirus and malware folders

- Which Windows OS is installed - WinXP, Vista or Win7?

- What Windows Service Pack (SP) is installed - SP1, SP2, SP3, etc.?

- What is the architecture of the Windows OS - 32-bit or 64-bit?

- Which BD product do you have - Antivirus, Internet Security or Total Security?

- Do you have any other security program(s) currently installed on your PC?

- Did you uninstall any other security program(s) prior to installing or attempting to install BD?

- If the answer to question 6 is YES, what method did you use to uninstall each - the program's Windows Start Menu 'Uninstall' function, Windows Add/Remove Program function, the company's standalone downloaded uninstall tool or a third party uninstaller such as Revo Uninstaller?

- What type/speed processor (CPU) is in your PC?

- How much memory (RAM) is in your PC?

It sounds to me like you may have gotten infected by OpenCloud fake antivirus or another virus like it.

They get installed by Trojans and when you try to search how to delete them, they redirect you trying to make you think that it's on their end.

removing avg would leave you without a virus checker unless your version of zone alarm is the one with the antivirus and spyware checker built in.

so to answer in more depth yes uninstall it and see what happens if you do have another virus checker installed the on with zone alarm just leave it at that if your happy with the protection this gives you if not if the files re-apear re-install avg and then see what happens.

this is one of the situations where you have nothing to loose and will turn out to be a ###### it and see exercise
