Jiedu.exe

I am trying to install BD 2011 on a infected system.(XPP) During the initial scan BD try to scan a file "jiedu.exe" witch I believe is the virus.BD scan stop at the file then close completely.If I try to delete the file it give error - file is not accesable. how do I get rid or disinfect the system.All folders in the root directory has been changed to shortcuts which is also no longer usable. :wub:

Hi there,

The files are turned into shortcuts due to an exploit in Windows and the fix would be to install all Microsoft Updates via Automatic Updates.

If that file is causing Bitdefender to stop then you can remove it manually by using this tool called GMER: http://www.gmer.net/#files

Run the tool,wait a couple of seconds to load,press the >>> button and go under the Files tab to delete that file.
