BitDefender Security Client not detecting two obvious virus files with randomly generated names appearing in the Windows dir. deletion causes immediate re-appearance, entries appear in registry run key. Machine is at remote site so safe-mode boot is not possible. Can't identify infected process.
Where do I submit files for analysis?
Oh and by the way! Love the fact I can't state whether or not a differnt antivirus products did or did not detect the infection! That's some trust-building transparency right there BitDefender you douche****!
It's understable for an AV to miss a virus every now and again - but to prohibit people from mentioning competitive products as part of information that would be helpful to someone with an infection that BitDefender currently does not protect against is wrong. The security and protection of peoples computers and information is more important than your bottom line and customer retention, greedy tossers.
