Any Special Settings Needed For Carbonite?

I am using Carbonite version 5 and wonder if there are any recommended settings to make in BitDefender Internet Security 2012?

I am running 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium.

Thanks. I did not receive any error messages, but someone from Carbonite was answering me on a question and they suggested making some changes in my BitDefender settings like you describe. It was kind of a generic recommendation so I wanted to know from you guys if any settings changes for BitDefender were recommended as a matter of course.
