Options For Running A Full Scan

I am a long time kaspersky user, currently using kis 2012, my licence runs out in about 2 weeks and was looking at bit defender total security.


i have changed what settings i wanted to change and am currently running a full scan, can anyone tell me how i change the full scan settings, is it in the antivirus settings > in the sheild tab > then the anti virus control settings at the bottom part? i am assuming the sheild settings are only for the real time scanning? in the anti virus control settings there doesnt seem to be a way to use custom settings, is this right, can i only select between permissive / normal and aggressive for when i run a full scan?
