I have same problem. I dont know if I have malware or something, windows 7 ultimate is running as usual. Only thing that made me suspicious was my gaming mouse which sometimes was running ˝on its own will˝. So I did full system scan with bitdefender internet security 2012. Since there was no problem I decided to try rescue mode but that was not possible. Also I would like to know if bitdefender can work when windows is in safe mode mine can not. I reinstalled bitdefender because I thought that is corrupted but it is the same. I would started new topic but I see that the problem is same so I hope. In order to be able to further investigate the reported situation we need a bit more information from your computer as follows:

. A BDSYS log;

[how to GENERATE A BDSYS LOG]

. Save and extract the BDSYS tool to a location of your choice:

. Make sure you close all active applications and then run "BDSysLog_i.exe"; If you receive a firewall alert,select to Allow the application to connect;

. Click the "Create log" button to start generating the log; A progress bar is indicating that the tool is creating the report;

. When the small window appears with the message "Log saved" then the report is complete and a new file named "bdsyslog.zip" has appeared on your Desktop;

. Send me via PM the generated log file.

. If the file is to big for send it over PM, upload the results to one of the online file hosting servers mentioned below or use one of your own and send via PM the download link.

IMPORTANT:

.During this process the Real Time Protection in Bitdefender must be temporarily disabled;

.If you receive a Bitdefender Firewall alert to inform you that BDSysLog_i.exe tries to connect to the internet,then you need to select Allow;

In order to disable the antivirus protection,please open Bitdefender and click the "Settings" button in the upper side part of the interface"; In the new window go to "Antivirus" > "Shield"tab and click on "Turn off" under On-access scanning.Select the time interval that suites your troubleshooting needs and click "OK" . The On-access scanning should be enabled back after finishing the troubleshooting procedure.

One thing that I forgot to mention, which is also why I re installed bitdefender internet security 2012, is happening again. I scanned system with full, quick, custom scan few minutes ago but its still on "Last scan: 5 days ago" which is when I re installed it.

Hello Christian,

I guess you was very busy last week considering all happenings in virtual world so its OK. I just updated and did full system scan and after restarting it still says Last scan: 7 days ago, although it did recognized that I scanned comp seven days ago. Mouse is now moving on its own only after it boot_s up after stand by for about two minutes and I did not try to boot in rescue mode, so if that means anything...

I am still waiting for the results for our labs regarding those logs.

Now, regarding that Last scan was X days ago, a fix will be provided in the next product.

It's just a minor display issue. Basically the main interface is not updated to consider the last full system scan.

Yesterday I noticed was a product update, so regarding Last scan:X its OK. Mouse started to move on its own after I switch internet on, but now it's OK don't know why maybe was not malware after all. Tried Rescue Mode and it's working. The reason why I thought It's malware is that after installing bitdefender internet security 2012 for the first time I tried rescue mode and it started from first time without having to set resolution (pressing enter instead of space) My guess is that something changed ether in my settings or via product update so now I have to chose resolution before I can use Rescue Mode. Anyhow I'd like to apologize for taking your time. Hope this helps somebody in future.
