I followed this link and installed their soft. But the so called "bootkit check" was so quick, I knew it was a fake tool.

So I immediately used the tool from Bit Defender:

I found the following viruses:

Gen:Heur. VIZ. 2

Trojan. Zlob. 2.Gen

So dont use this F..... web site www.malwarecity.fr

First of all, that is the official Blog provided by Bitdefender.

The anti-boot kit tool scans only the MBR, the sequence of 512 bytes located at the first sector of a data storage device.

A scan with that tool should not take longer than 3-5 seconds.

Also, all our removal tools are digitally signed by Bitdefender.

That tool is real and can be used to disinfect MBR rootkits.
