Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2012 Unable To Delete Gen.variant.kazy61545

I left a scan running and my computer had a few security alerts... Something along the lines of root certificates... I should have screenshotted that instead of thinking my virus scanner can fix it.

I am running Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 2012 on Windows Vista 32 bit.

The full system scan found multiple files, cleaning some, deleting others but said there were some that could not be scanned because of limited access rights. I am sorry for not having exact words but I was hoping it would not come down to the product I have paid for failing, and instead of getting quick help needing to register on a forum and explain it in detail...

Anyway I now have a window that has a standard looking "Solved Issues: 0" and below that "Ignored issues: 0"

"Please decide how to deal with 1 detected threat(s) affecting 3 object(s)"

It says Gen:Variant.Kazy61545 3 issues left (No action was taken)

I have tried multiple times to delete them but it circles me back to this exact same window. I have attempted to attach a screenshot but for some reason nothing is being found when i click browse.

If you need any logs let me know how to make them... I wish I had better explanations of how this started...

I have been doing some online job applications as well which is now making me wonder if anything has fallen into the wrong hands and would like to know exactly what this virus does (assumeing it is not a false posative)

Welcome to the forums.

In order to be able to assist you please run a Full System Scan task with Bitdefender and send us the resulting scan report.

[how to GENERATE A FULL SYSTEM SCAN LOG]

- Before running the scan please make sure that you have the latest virus definitions downloaded via the Update module.

For this you need to open Bitdefender and from the main interface click on Update now;

- After the update process has completed successfully you can proceed to

running the scan task.

In the same window go to Antivirus and press the Scan now button =>Full system scan.

- After the scan has finished you need to submit the scan log file.

This is accomplished by running the Support tool file that can be

downloaded from this location:

http://www.bitdefender.com/files/Knowledge...or_scanlogs.exe

Save the file prior to running it and to continue you need to accept the terms of use.

At the end of this process an archive will be created on your Desktop starting with bdamst.
